Due to the potentially dangerous conditions when making soap, please follow all safety rules. And please do not make soap while caring for young children. The two just don't mix.

Check back often as we are always adding new stuff.



BATH BOMBS
4 Tbsp citric acid
4 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 tsp fragrance oil of choice
6-12 drops color
6 Tbsp coconut or apricot kernal oil
In a medium bowl, mix all dry ingredients until thoroughly blended. In another bowl, mix oil, color and fragrance. Slowly add liquids to dry mix. Shape into balls or press firmly into small molds. Place on waxed paper, let dry for 1-2 days. When completely dry store in airtight container.


LEMONADE BATH BOMBS
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup epsom salts
4 Tbsp citric acid
4 Tbsp corn starch
2 pk lemonade Kool Aid
2 tsp dried lemon zest
4 chewable vitamin C tablets (orange ones, coarsely ground)
6 Tbsp coconut oil
Mix dry ingredients well. Dribble in melted oil. Mix until the consistency of wet sand. Pack into molds. Freeze 1 hr. Remove from mold and place on wax paper on baking sheet. Place in pre-heated 150* oven. Turn off oven. Remove after 10 minutes or less. Check for spreading. Allow to dry 24 hrs. Makes approx, 20 bombs. If spreading occurs--repack into molds and push down hard. Re-freeze for 1 hr. Air dry on wax paper.



BATH SALTS
2 cups epsom salt
1/2 cup sea salt
4-6 drops essential oil
liquid food coloring
Mix thoroughly, adding food coloring very slowly until right shade is achieved. Store in airtight container. Use 1/4-1/2 cup per bath.



BATH SALTS
1/2 cup rock salt
1/2 cup epsom salt
1/4 sea salt
5 drops vanilla fragrance
3 drops lavender fragrance
2 drops cedarwood fragrance
2 drops bergamot fragrance
15-20 drops liquid food coloring
Mix thoroughly. Store in airtight container. Use about 1/4-1/2 cup per bath.



BASIC SALT SCRUB
2 cups sea salt
1/2 cup sweet almond oil
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tsp vitamin E oil
2 Tbsp dried ground flower petals or herbs
2 drops essential oil to complement
Mix oils and salt, add essential oil. Add dried botanicals and mix completely.



OATMEAL MILK BATH
1 cup cornstarch
2 cups dry milk
1/2 cup finely ground oatmeal
Combine in a food processor until thoroughly mexed. Add 1/2 cup to bath water.



ALMOND MILK BATH
4 oz sifted dry milk
2 oz cornstarch
2 oz citric acid
1.5 ml vitamin E oil or grapefruit seed oil
3 ml almond fragrance oil
In a bowl, mix fragrance oil and vitamin E or grapefruit seed oil together with citric acid. Blend well. In another bowl, combine dry milk and cornstarch. Blend well, then sift. Combine both bowls. Blend well. Use about 3 Tbsp per bath.



BODY GLITTER
1/2 tsp glycerin
1/2 cup aloe vera gel
5-10 drops of vitamin E oil
1/2 Tbsp glitter
Mix the oils together well, then add the glitter. Pour into clear lip balm containers.



LAVENDER BODY POWDER
1 cup finely ground dried lavender buds
1 cup bentonite clay
1 1/2 cups cornstarch
lavender essential oil
Whisk the clay and cornstarch together, add lavender buds, then lavender oil. Allow to sit covered in the bowl and then transfer to shaker jar.



ROSE DUSTING POWDER
2 cups arrowroot powder or cornstarch
1 cup rose clay
1/2 cup powdered rose petals
1 cup baking soda
3 Tbsp silver mica or cosmetic grade glitter
10 drops rose essential oil
Mix all together and then sift several times through a fine mesh strainer. Put into shaker containers.



BUTTERMILK HONEY SOAP
14 oz coconut oil
21 oz olive oil
9 oz palm oil
18 fl. oz 1% buttermilk
6.8 oz lye
At trace, add: 1/2 cup oatmeal (finely ground), 4 oz soybean oil, 2 Tbsp honey



CARROT SOAP
10 oz palm oil
4 oz coconut oil
2 oz olive oil
2 oz lye
4 oz water
4 oz carrot juice*
Mix lye and water. Set aside to cool. Melt oils together, set aside to cool. When oils are 110* and lye water is at 100*, gently pour lye into oils. Add juice to mixture, stirring constantly. Mix until soap traces, pour into mold. Allow to stand covered and out of drafts for 48 hrs.
*Can use any fruit juice
